New Loan Modification Legislation Coming Soon

Since the banks are having so much trouble handling loan modifications lawmakers are looking for ways to force banks to give out loan modifications to people who deserve them. Whether this is right or wrong is the topic of a hot debate.

Lets face it, when you take a look at what NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America) is doing around the country its not hard to see that when banks are pressed they are able to get the job done.  Why don't they just do what they will eventually have to do anyway instead of dragging their feet?  It will be cheaper for the taxpayers but I guess that doesn't really concern them.

Buy Your Dream Home Now and Rent it Out!

What I'm seeing alot of is people coming down now looking to buy a property that they don't intend on using for another three to five years.  They just can't let this great buyers market pass them buy so they are making the purchase now and renting it out.  There are so many properties to choose from and the  conditions are still great to make a good buy.

Even though its not easy being a landlord, if you find good tenants and work with the right people it will pay off in the end.

Do the Opposite of What Everyone Else is Doing

Talk to anyone who has ever made any money in real estate and they will all tell you the same thing. Do the opposite of what everybody else is doing. Buy when everyone else is selling.

This sounds so simple but most people don't have the strength to do it.  That's why only the select few make money.

Loan Service Companies and What the Investers Don't Know

Loan service companies are companies that service a loan for the investor or the actual lender. During this challenging time when the mortgage industry is overwhelmed its not uncommon to find some really bad loan servicers out there.

The loan servicer has alot of power to hand out loan modifications and often make some decisions based on what they feel to be right.  The problem is some of the less qualified ones often make really bad decisions costing investors hundreds of thousands of dollars and hurting the borrower at the same time.

During this busy time when good, qualified people are in demand there really is no way to fix this.  Hopefully your loan servicer is a good one.

A Cold Blast in Boca Raton, Florida

When I feel temperatures like we have right now I remember how lucky we are to live here in South Florida.  The nice thing about it down here is that when it dips into the 40's or 50's this time of year the worst of it is when you are sleeping and it only last a day or so. Many people will be at the beach again in a couple of days.
